The only thing I can come up with to explain some of these choices is that a lot of you guys are having issues keeping mana up. The prot tanking rotation is set in stone, and is guaranteed to give the most dps & threat possible. If you aren't clear on what it is, I've posted about it in a previous thread. Step 1, get defense! You need 535 defense to be uncritable by heroic level bosses, and 540 to be uncritable by raid bosses. This can be easily accomplished with a crafted pieces.
