Ok, I'm looking at some of the specs of the prot pallies in this guild, and trying to figure out the reasoning behind these decisions. The only thing I can come up with to explain some of these choices is that a lot of you guys are having issues keeping mana up.

The prot tanking rotation is set in stone, and is guaranteed to give the most dps & threat possible. If you aren't clear on what it is, I've posted about it in a previous thread. Assuming you're doing your rotation with no gaps ...

There are four different and yet all totally fun ways to play a druid. In this i will explain to you what each spec does / needs for it to work efficiently in a raid.

I. Feral DPS (Kitty Spec)- Melee damage spec that is designed similar to a rogue with the use of energy and combo points

1. hit cap 8%

2. stat to stack agility

3. Rotation Five combo savage roar bleeds and shred if u can not a hard rotation three or more mobs SWIPE FTW!!.

II. Feral tank (bear spec)

A couple of people asked what kind of stats to pay attention to as a protection paladin, so I figured I'd do a quick writeup..

Step 1, get defense! You need 535 defense to be uncritable by heroic level bosses, and 540 to be uncritable by raid bosses. This can be easily accomplished with a crafted pieces. There are a number of lists outlining the details of what you need for these, and I'm not going to repeat them here. Check the official WOW forums, ElitistJerks, or Maintankadin. The biggest advantage I found for speccing this way is that both specs value gear similiarly, and because of the points in suppression less itemization needs to be used for +hit. Both of these specs are hit capped at 11%, and value

Boo had asked a question about how to gem her resto shammie now that she has a ton of mana/int..

It seems you're going to primarily want to be gemming spell power and haste. Spell power goes in all red slots, haste in yellows, and blues you can put in a haste/mp5 green gem.

Hope that helps.

Top 3 stats and what you need in them:

1. Highly recommend leveling Shadow spec.

2. Always get Spirit Tap for questing

3. Don't get discouraged Priest leveling seems tough at low levels don't give up.

4. Priests can heal as shadow spec in the lower levels but in higher end levels one needs to be holy or discipline to be an effective healer.
